Popular in Europe Eurovision Song Contest has been on in Moscow now. Contest was started yesterday (May,10) and will last till May,16. Throughout 6 days 42 Europe countries will vie on the 54th Eurovision Song Contest stage.
The Eurovision Song Contest is produced yearly under the auspices of the European Broadcasting Union. A European tradition was born in Monaco, back in 1955. Consequently, the first ever Eurovision Song Contest took place in Lugano, Switzerland, at the Teatro Kursaal, on the 24th of May, 1956.
Organization of 54th Eurovision Song Contest in Russia cost more than 24 million Euro. Organizers asseverated that they did everything possible to make this contest the most unforgettable and excitable in the history of Eurovision.
