Gliss Festival - 21th to 24th May in Lacanau, Southern France.
It can roughly be translated as the "gliding festival" where boarders, bladers, surfers... anything that glides on water, land or in the sky gather together.
Lacanau is 43km from Bordeaux and has a reputation of being a surfy beach resort next to a big lake jammed with water activities. The small town is dotted with watersports shops, cafes and quaint gift shops.
