The Hard Rock Calling Festival 2009 took place in Hyde Park on 26-28 June. I had a chance to attend the festival on Saturday. Neil Young was the head liner of the day and what a show it was! It was hammering down rain at one point in the day but it didn't seem to affect the mood of the festival at all.
On Sunday, I decided to picnic in the park outside of the festival. The head liner for Sunday was Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. Dave Matthews Band played right before the main act but they aren't as popular in England. I'm from the States so, to be honest, I was more excited to listen to Dave Matthews Band than any other group. And I had a much more enjoyable and affordable experience on Sunday.
Either way, I would recommend going to Hyde Park next year for the Hard Rock Calling Festival 2010.
