The Supreme Court has this morning overturned the High Court and the Court of Appeal rulings saying that bank charges don't have to be fair!

This shocking decision is going to come as a huge disappointment to previously hopeful, potential reclaimers. Earlier this morning the banks stood to pay millions to their customers due to historic bank charges, which led to talk of banks possibly trying to recoup these losses by enforcing charges for everyday banking facilities. Is this surprising ruling, in favour of the banks yet another blow to the public in these difficult times, or not wholly unexpected?
