Emily's travel journal - 18/Feb/09 Pennsylvania/Maryland

After being told by a mail order operator that nothing happens there, I decided to find out myself. In fact, loads goes on there! We skiied and snowboarded (White Tail consists of ice rinks rather than pistes,but Blue Knob was rather lovely) climbed and gymed (classes including Iron Abs and Zumba!) drank and ate and ate more. We briefly popped over to Maryland in search of uniform cladded officers, but only found crabs...

D'you know what? of all things, the people were just lovely! every single one them! kind, generous, helpful.. just lovely!
